Following a successful initial period using the EDGE technology by 1st Team Manager Jamie Tompkins and his Coaching Staff, we are delighted to announce our Innovation Partnership with PlayerData.
As part of this initiative, Ascot United will test new app-features and provide feedback ahead of full release as well as sample new hardware as the service develops and upgrades. In addition to the technology itself, a number of seminars will be hosted at the Club looking at Advanced Coaching (application of in-app data), Applied Sports Science (Physiology within Football) and Education Pathways (Careers in Sport)
Neil Richards (Director of Football) – “We are delighted to agree an exciting new Innovation Partnership with PlayerData. As a club we are committed to supporting our Senior players and broader membership with new ideas both on and off the pitch, from the early trials we are already seeing the value this great service is adding to player development and performance.”
Graham Jones (Director for Partnerships & Sponsorships) – “It is extremely important that we align with those who share our passion for the game, see grassroots development & education as a crucial part of the sporting ecosystem and whose brand values align with our own. With PlayerData, it was clear from the start that these criteria would be met and we are looking forward to anchoring the partnership in the Berkshire area.”
