Mick Lewin Football Tutor

Ascot United are delighted to partner with Football Tutor to enable us to support our grass roots coaches with coaching resources that support their development and journey within the club. has been founded by Mick Lewin, UEFA A Licence Coach, ex-EFL Academy Football Coach, Lead Coach Developer for the FA and Teacher. Mick has over 10 years’ experience within 3 professional football club academies and within the Football Association as a Coach Developer. Mick has developed a tailored online and face to face coach and club development programme that will help coaches at all levels develop their sessions and progress their players. ‘My coaching journey began at Ascot Utd and I have watched the development of the club with great interest. I’m very proud to be associated with a fantastic grassroots club that tries to do things the right way’ – Mick Lewin

We are currently offering a 12-week tailored course for our U7 and U8 coaches that is designed around the specific needs of the coach and a structure that fits around the practical sessions that the coaches deliver during midweek training.

Mick also offers move advanced sessions for the older age groups and is currently running a course for all local coaches with teams from clubs including Ascot United, Maidenhead United and Hawley FC.

“It’s essential in the formative years of coaching our volunteers that best practice and good behaviours are embedded into their skillset and Football Tutor will supplement the current FA courses that are available” Director of Football Neil Richards
