Ascot seek to turn the screw against Nuts and Bolts
Annnnndddd…we’re back again!
This weekend we welcome Ashford United for an Isuzu FA Trophy 2nd qualifying round tie. And no, this isn’t Ashford Town Middx, Ashford, Ashford Borough or even Ashford Railway Works (who folded in 1928 btw!). This is the modern-day Kent variety, nicknamed as per the heading!
Want to know what Gavin thought of the last few games, what this stage of the competition means, or indeed what David is buzzing about for the week ahead? Don’t worry – it’s all in this week’s online-only matchday programme here, and you can even find a glossary of useful non league websites to visit when you are bored next Tuesday evening – but you have to bore yourself even more by reading my ramblings!
Wanna get a ticket so you don’t have to sort it on the gate? Here you go…
And after Saturday’s match, our Women are in league action on Sunday when they welcome Bournemouth Sports, before the small matter of an FA Youth Cup match in Didcot on Monday.
You then get a day off (you don’t have to say thanks) before Ascot United travel to Southall for the re-arranged Isthmian League fixture on Wednesday evening, and then we can all start thinking about next weekend after that!
