Following the departure of the previous management at the end of last season , we are pleased to announce the make up of the new management team for our U18 Boys Youth. I’m delighted that Dave Burton has agreed to take the Managers role, with Mick Lewin as Coach. They will be assisted by Dan Bailey and Will Chaisty.
Dave has coached at Ascot Utd for a number of years and is well respected throughout the club. Mick is also well known at Ascot Utd and is a highly qualified coach, holding a UEFA A license. Dan requires little introduction and will be combining his role with the U18’s with First Team duties, providing an invaluable link between the two. Finally Will has been at the club since the age of 4 and returns to the club after a successful stint coaching in the Middle East.
Dave Burton says “I am delighted to be appointed to manage the u18s. Having been part of the fabric of this Club for over 10 years, I look forward to this opportunity in leading a new Management Team to develop exciting talent for our first Team.”
We are also delighted to confirm that our U18 Youth will play in the Isthmian U18 Youth League next season. This will provide a more competitive environment for this group, further enhancing the pathway to senior football.
