LADIES RESERVES SECURE PROMOTION

#WeAreAscot.

Ascot United Ladies Reserves secured promotion to the 2nd division of the Thames Valley County League on Sunday with victory at Abbey Rangers Reserves
Clodagh Farrell opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a superb 20 yard strike into the top corner, then after a superb run on twenty minutes set up Courtney Gibbons for the second.
Abbey fought hard and deservedly pulled one back just before half time.

The Yellawomen came out of the blocks strongly in the second half and Farrell scored from a tight angle  on 55 mins from a precise Darcey Young through ball to make it 3-1.
The win against third placed Abbey secured promotion so now the focus is on winning the league outright.
