John Swallow steps down as Phoenix squad manager

#WeAreAscot

After many years of service, John Swallow has decided to step down as manager of our Phoenix Squad. John has done an incredible job with this squad, winning back to back promotions which has led to the squad playing in the Southern Region Women’s Football League for the first time in the 2023/24 season. I’d like to thank John for all his hard work with this squad and we hope to see him still visiting us at The Racecourse.

I’m delighted that we have been able to fill the vacant position with two club legends – Lisa Phillips and Kelly Rideout have volunteered to step into the role, and will take over immediately. This brings experience and continuity to the squad, and I’m sure they will make a big success of it.

Thanks again to John, and good luck to Lisa and Kelly!
