Ascot Utd are delighted to confirm that we will host a league fixture between Jersey Bulls and Balham FC on Wednesday 30th March, kicking off at 7:45pm.

The Bulls are upgrading their Springfield Stadium and therefore needed to seek alternative venues for some “home” matches – Jersey and Balham compete in the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties Football League Premier Division South, with Jersey currently sitting third in the table and Balham in mid table.

Simon Negus, Chairman of Ascot Utd, said: “We are pleased to finally be able to welcome The Bulls to Ascot, after a couple of previously arranged game had to be cancelled for covid-related reasons.  We expect the fixture to draw a big crowd and it’s a sign of the strong relationship between the two clubs that Ascot Utd junior members will be mascots for the evening.”

Ian Horswell, CEO of Jersey Bulls, said: ““We are delighted to finally be playing at the Racecourse Ground. Ascot United and Bulls were due to meet in our inaugural season but covid prevented that from happening. We enjoy great relations with the club and are grateful for the opportunity to use their ground whilst our stadium completes its renovations.”

Further information about this fixture will be announced in due course and ticketing arrangements are yet to be finalised but will be available to purchase shortly.
