Berks County set to call The Racecourse home

#WeAreAscot.

We are delighted to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Berks County FC which will see them ground sharing at The Racecourse for the next two seasons.  They play at Step 6 in the Combined Counties League, and only just missed out on promotion last season – they will be looking to go one better this year I’m sure.  We have already hosted some games for them, and we look forward to making them feel at home as part of our community.

“We’re delighted to have Berks County on board as our groundshare partners for the next two seasons. We look forward to building the relationship between our two clubs, and welcoming their players, officials and fan to The Racecourse Ground”

Simon Negus, Ascot United Chairman

“We are delighted to announce that our Men’s First Team home for the next two season will be The Racecourse Ground. This brings our senior games closer to our junior section and allows us to build a local partnership with Ascot United. We equally thank Binfield FC for hosting us over the last 3 seasons.

Steve Kay, Berks County FC Chairman

We’d like to wish our previous tenants Lyne FC all the best for the future – we have enjoyed hosting their games since the 3G was installed, and will follow their progress with interest.

Good luck to Lyne FC and welcome Berks County FC.
