Ascot United v Maidenhead United Preview

#WeAreAscot

Ascot United Women will play host to Maidenhead United Women in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup First Round at the Racecourse on Sunday 18th of September.

The cup game will be the first time the pair will meet competitively despite both playing in the Cup on a number of occasions since it’s inception.

The Yellas were knocked out by Chesham United in the Quarter Final in an 8-1 defeat in the 2021/22 series of the competition, whilst Maidenhead United were semi-finalists who were knocked out by eventual winners Reading Academy in a 4-1 loss.

Black armbands will be worn and a minute’s silence will be held in a show of respect for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Match report to follow.

Up the Yellas!
