Ascot open league campaign with Molesey trip

#WeAreAscot

Ascot United kick off their league campaign on Saturday with a trip to Molesey (3pm) (Walton Rd, East Molesey, West Molesey KT8 2JG). The home side suffered a horrendous opening on Tuesday evening when league rivals Southall hammered them 7-0 at home in the FA Cup, meaning they will be as eager to bounce back to winning ways as Ascot.
Last season, the two sides met just once when Molesey won 2-1 at The Racecourse in January and at the point when the league was suspended they were 6th having probed in and around the top of the league for much of the season, although 12 defeats in 31 games had all-but-extinguished their title aspirations.

Except for the postponement of Sheerwater v Redhill, all teams are in league action on Saturday with the Spelthorne v Frimley match one of the tastiest.

Based on the match day information we have received from Molesey, entry will be available on the gate on the day. Please respect social distancing at Walton Road and look out for the report here within an hour of the full time whistle.
