ASCOT IN MIDWEEK DERBY AFTER U18s GLORY

#WeAreAscot.

The picture makes for pleasant viewing, doesn’t it?! After the euphoria of last night’s league-title-winning victory for the U18’s, the first team are back in action tonight (Tuesday) with the short-hop to Stag Meadow to face Virginia Water (7.45pm).

The hosts are seven points clear of the bottom two so are after more points to help guarantee safety, and if they repeat their performance at The Racecourse in the recent reverse fixture (1-1) they will feel confident of doing just that.

The Yellamen have six matches remaining with a 6th place looking likely, although they need to start winning games after a barren run in the league that as seen them take just three points from their last five league games.

It’s also Duarte Surpanu’s birthday (feliz aniversário Duarte!), and Taylor Morgan would make his 49th appearance for The Yellamen if involved this evening as he inches closer to the half-century mark.
