Ascot Diamonds U14 girls won a double header (both games 4 NIL) against a spirited Shinfield Rangers on Saturday March 21st at the Goaters Road pitch. The two wins means Diamonds remain just one point behind league leaders Risborough Rangers with a game in hand.
The Division 2 League title remains a two horse race between Risborough and Ascot with neither team taking a step back at this stage and with all results still possible for these two teams, the run in is even more exciting
Ascot Diamonds has now had 13 different goal scorers this season showing the depth all over the pitch in the team as the Diamonds remain on course but can afford no slip ups with three games to play
Mathematically the only teams who can possibly overtake these two at this stage is Ascot Sapphires U14 who have also had an excellent season and are on a golden run as well, and possibly Marlow as a very long shot.
