ALLIED U18S IN MIDWEEK ACTION / MIXED FORTUNES FOR LADIES

#WeAreAscot

Ascot United Allied U18’s are back in league action on Tuesday evening (7.45pm) with the visit of Virginia Water, looking to profit from their games in hand and make inroads into league leaders Westfield’s ten point advantage.

With four games in hand, a win tonight, and then next week against Fleet Spurs, would cut the deficit to just four points and The Young Yellamen would still have two games in hand before Westfield next play.

Virginia Water come into the game in fourth, and are also well-placed just three points below Ascot from the same number of games.

Meanwhile, last Sunday Ascot United Ladies lost 4-0 at home to Eastleigh as they slipped below Wycombe Wanderers into 6th place in the SRWFL, but there was another win for the Ladies’ Reserves who edged out Chinnor 4-3 in the league cup; Clodagh Farrell (2), Hannah Swallow and the ever-dependable Freya Johnson all on target.
