ASCOT PREPARE FOR RIGHT ROYAL DERBY / MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

Yellas and Royalists to renew rivalry after 4 seasons apart

It’s August bank holiday! It’s derby day! And yes, here is your online-only matchday programme for the visit of Windsor and Eton.

Yes, we’ve copied the ‘where are they now’ and the Non League paper column from Friday’s edition, but you can still get the lowdown on life from Dan, Gavin and David – and of course me!

It’s gonna be a belter with Windsor and The Great Park Crew expected to bring a few, so you can beat the rush with your online tickets here. Maybe even push the boat out and go for the Hat-Trick deal, or for 99 you could get yourself a season ticket (without a flake, or indeed any red balloons passing by).

And, you might even get this rising X-star tweeting again on Monday (pictured). Having had a busy night on Friday with his fingers working overtime on our socials watching Ascot beat Margate, Benny was up with dad Phil and sister Maddie working his legs hard at a 5k Park Run on Saturday morning!!! We’ll let you ask his dad if Benny beat him…

Today (Sunday), however, saw our Women’s team lose 6-0 for the third time in as many games as they were undone on the road at Bridgwater Town. Their unenviable start to the National League South West Campaign sees them rooted to the bottom and yet to score a goal, with eighteen conceded.

And, it’s a busy week ahead as Dan points out with plenty of cup action midweek, before The Yellas big to reach the 2nd qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup for only the 2nd time in their history next Sunday. There’s nothing to Lewes (see what I did there?).

OK, I’ll give up there until the match report, to follow.
