Our Men’s First Team ‘Player of the Month’ for August, as sponsored by Hedone, is Brendan Matthew.

Matthew has netted five goals and one assist in five games for the Yellas in our first month of action. He opened his Ascot account in the first fixture of the season to seal a 2-1 victory in the FA Cup against Bristol-based side Cribbs FC. Before putting on a real show for supporters scoring a hattrick in the first league game of the season against Windsor FC. His final goal of the month came in the FA Cup exit against Holyport to spoil the clean sheet for the hosts.
