U9 Raiders take on Stamford Bridge

#WeAreAscot

Our U9 Raiders recently took to the big stage in a highly competitive and well organised tournament on the hallowed turf of Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge

The team played three group games followed by a playoff to reach the mid-table final, only going down 2 – 0 against a well organised and talented opponent.

The entire team worked hard and played a great passing game throughout the tournament with James Cooke providing an outstanding performance in Goal, defence and upfront to be voted as the Ascot player of the tournament.

As part of the experience, they visited the home dressing room and were walked out of the tunnel by the referee while their names were called out over the tannoy. The smiles on their faces said it all!

A fantastic experience to finish a fantastic season for our young U9 Raiders!
