The Yellamen may not be in action this weekend, but both Ladies’ teams are in action on Sunday as Warsash Wipes fly into the Racecourse on Sunday (2pm) for a Southern Region Women’s Football League encounter. Darrel Evans’ side got off to a losing start in last Sunday’s local derby with Woodley, losing 1-0, but will see this weekend as an opportunity to put it right against a side that were similarly locked in battle to escape the drop zone last season. Warsash have yet to play a league fixture. Entry is secured via Eventbrite in advance here

Meanwhile, Ascot United Ladies Reserves travel to Woking Ladies Reserves in the Thames Valley League Division 3 East looking to add to their one win from their opening four fixtures.

The Ladies’ fixtures and results are now updated on this site.

On Thursday evening, Ascot United Allied U18’s produced a fine scoring display to win 7-0 at Abbey Rangers in the league as Lawson Jones bagged a hatful. Remember, Ascot United (Firsts) will be back under the lights when CB Hounslow visit next Tuesday (7.45pm) – tickets here
