Jamie Tompkins and team depart after record-breaking Ascot United tenure

#WeAreAscot.

Ascot United FC can confirm that, after seven memorable years, Jamie Tompkins and his management team will be stepping down from their roles with the First Team by mutual consent.

Jamie and his team have been integral to an extraordinary chapter in the club’s history, leading the team in 337 matches and delivering unforgettable achievements along the way.

Under their guidance, Ascot United lifted the Hellenic League Cup, were crowned Combined Counties Premier Division Champions, and achieved promotion to Step 4 for the very first time.

In May 2023, Jamie and his management team guided the club to a historic victory at Wembley Stadium, winning the FA Vase and earning national recognition. A day that will never be forgotten.

This season, Jamie led the team to a 4th place finish in the Isthmian South Central Division and a Play-Off appearance – our highest ever league position and in doing so further cementing his legacy as the most successful manager in the club’s history.

Everyone at Ascot United would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Jamie and his team for their dedication, leadership, and the countless memories they have given us.

We wish them all the very best for the future.

The process to appoint a new First Team Management team will begin shortly.
