Yellamen welcome ‘Green in Tuesday clash

#WeAreAscot.

Ascot United are back under the lights on Tuesday evening for the visit of near-neighbours Frimley Green (7.45pm). As a reminder, tickets must be purchased in advance via the Eventbrite website here and it is a cashless site. The matchday programme is available here now, and everyone who purchases a ticket will also automatically be emailed a copy one hour before kick off.

Frimley will arrive buoyed by their FA Cup victory over Westfield last weekend, a result which sees them advance to the first qualifying round having now won two ties. However, their league form has seen them pointless form two outings, something ex-Yellaman Liam Flanighan and his side will look to put right at The Racecourse.

Flanighan was a close-season signing having turned out for Ascot sixteen times last season. “Flanners” was a solid addition last term – signed as cover for the injured Chris Ellis – and weighed in with one goal; so he will be familiar with a largely unchanged Ascot United squad.

Tuesday’s fixture schedule includes Raynes Park Vale (W2) versus Sutton Common Rovers (W1D1), Southall (W2) versus Hanworth Villa (W1D1) and Spelthorne versus Badshot Lea.

  • Abbey Rangers v Redhill
  • Ascot United v Frimley Green
  • Banstead Athletic v Guildford City
  • Cobham v Colliers Wood United
  • Egham Town v Knaphill
  • Raynes Park Vale v Sutton Common Rovers
  • Sheerwater v Camberley Town
  • Southall v Hanworth Villa
  • Spelthorne Sports v Badshot Lea
  • CB Hounslow United v Molesey (Weds)
