TUESDAY TADLEY TEST AS ASCOT SEEK RESPONSE

Ascot United are back on the road on Tuesday evening as they head to Tadley Calleva for a league match (7.45pm) (Barlows Park, Tadley. RG26 3TA), map here.
Both sides lost their league openers on Saturday so will be looking for a response as Calleva went down 2-0 at home versus Abbey Rangers whilst Ascot were beaten 5-0 at Southall.
After almost two decades in the Wessex League the hosts were transferred into the Combined Counties League for the current season, although the two sides have met previously in both the 14/15 FA Cup and 18/19 FA Vase, trading victories. And, Calleva were boosted by the return of prolific striker Brett Denham from Andover New Street last November; Denham having previously lined up against Ascot.
