Cornerstone Building By Design

What began as a passion, soon evolved into a lifelong career spanning over two decades.

From a young age, Simon Chapman was drawn to the world of construction. With a background in Carpentry & Joinery and Construction Management, these foundations give Simon a deep understanding of both the practical and strategic sides of building – something that he brings to every project.

Simon founded Cornerstone Ascot which became, Cornerstone Build by Design with a clear vision – to raise the standard of residential construction by doing things differently. He has seen first-hand how the construction industry can feel impersonal or unclear and he wanted to create a company where focusing on trust, honesty, transparency and reliability are central to the experience. We believe in being upfront, honest and clear from the start and take a hands-on approach to every project. No hidden costs, no vague timelines, just open conversations and well executed work that you can trust.

At Cornerstone Build by Design, we believe a home is more than just bricks and mortar – it’s where memories are made and it should reflect the people who live in it. That’s why Simon remains personally involved in every project from concept to completion, ensuring that each home is built with the same care and attention to detail he would expect for his own family.

Over the years Simon has carefully built a trusted team of skilled tradespeople and dedicated office staff who share his values and commitment to excellence. We are proud of our work, transparent in our process and committed to delivering quality that lasts.
