Spelthorne Sports v Ascot United preview

Ascot United will travel to Spelthorne Sports on Thursday 20th of April in their penultimate league instalment of the Combined Counties Premier Division North with a 7:45pm kick off.

Ascot, the Premier Division North champions, sit first in the table having won thirty one in thirty six with just three draws and two losses to the Yellas name. They secured the title away at Edgware & Kingsbury on Thursday 13th of April with a 3-0 victory and lifted the trophy in front of a home crowd at the Racecourse in a 3-0 win over Chalfont St Peter on Saturday 15th of April. They continue to march on securing points having comfortably won 5-1 away to Oxhey Jets on Tuesday 18th of April with a hattrick from record goalscorer Brendan Matthew.

Meanwhile, Spelthorne Sports, who the Yellas faced back in October in a 2-1 victory at home, find themselves in thirteenth with ten wins, nine draws and fifteen losses. The hosts have two games in hand over the Yellas.

Elsewhere, Egham Town host Holyport, Burnham are on the road to North Greenford United and Wembley are at home to Edgware & Kingsbury.
