New beginnings: Ascot United staff changes as we welcome Ricky Simons

#WeAreAscot

After the announcement that our Club Secretary, Dan Birchmore, would be stepping down at the end of this season, we have taken the opportunity to assess what resources we need to meet the needs of our growing club both on and off the pitch.

Following this review I am delighted to announce that Ricky Simons will be joining the club as Football Operations Manager & Club Secretary with immediate effect, reporting to our General Manager, Jo Gavin.  Ricky will already be well known to many in the local footballing community having fulfilled a similar role at Bracknell Town for the past few years.   He therefore brings a wealth of experience to the club, and will hit the ground running – he will be based at the club and so please come and say hello!   Welcome to the yella-family Ricky.

As part of the restructuring of roles in the club, Emma Dunbar has decided to leave Ascot United – Emma has been involved at Ascot United for many years and has undertaken most roles over that time!  She will continue to support us when required but will be spending more time on her other work commitments in sunnier places… thanks for all you have contributed over the years Emma.
