Ascot United are in Emirates FA Cup action tonight [Friday] evening with the visit of Isthmian League Premier Division side Lewes (7.45pm).
The Yellamen will be looking to extend their best-ever run and reach the 3rd qualifying round with a win – which would then be just two matches from the first round proper – but standing in their way are a side brimming with experience and doing well at Step 3.
The Rooks currently have 11 points from six games; four off the top, and cruised past Faversham Town 4-0 in the last round of the FA Cup to set up the tie.
The match will also be the Pitching-In Isthmian league’s featured match on their website, plus a report will appear here after the game and in The Non League Paper on Sunday.
