The game kicked off at 10:50 am and in the first minute Ascot came flying out the blocks, the 6 point message well received. A high kick from Hanna Richards the keeper was well directed by Amira Khan first touch for Gabby Goodall who needed no second invitation to stroke the ball past the keeper to make it one nil. What a start for the Diamonds in no mood to mess about.

It was Gabby’s 9^th goal of the season and Amira’s 5^th assist

In the second minute Ascot now pouring all over Shinfield saw Mia Gill send a ball forward which was intercepted by Kitty Ward, looking ready for senior England call up to pivot past the challenge, drive wide and place a perfectly weighted pass into the area for Gabby Goodall yet again to hold off a strong challenge and bury the ball into the net

2 NIL to the Diamonds in the first 2 minutes and this might be the fastest hat trick on record at this level if Gabby kept going. It was her 10^th goal of the season and Kitty’s 2^nd assist.

In the 11^th minute Alexa already being a menace on the left wing dribbled into the box only to be sent flying by a hefty challenge leaving the Ref with no choice but to point to the penalty spot.

Aariyah then stepped up and delivered a calm shot into the corner beyond the keeper with no fuss to make it 3 NIL.  It was Aariyah’s 2^nd goal of the season.

HT and 3 NIL and Ascot cruising

In the 49^th minute Ascot won another corner delivered with precision by Tabitha before forcing another one in succession which was also delivered in the 50^th minute by Tabitha, and as some confusion reigned in the Shinfield box Kyla stormed in to finish the ball into the far post.

4 NIL to Ascot on the stroke of full time and it was Kyla’s 6^th goal of the season and Tabitha’s 4^th assist of the season.
