Our Men’s and Women’s teams are in the FA cup competitions as they jump on their respective coach journeys plying for a place in the next round. Here’s the upcoming details, the journey so far and how to book your place ahead of the weekend.

Ascot United Men take a short trip South to Broadbridge Heath in the Second Round Proper of the FA Vase. A new challenge for the Yellas as neither side have met before.

Broadbridge Heath currently sit top of the Premier Division of the Southern Combination Football League having played fifteen games with twelve wins, two draws and a loss. The Sussex side have failed to drop points since losing to Eastbourne back in August whilst Ascot’s only league defeat of the season came against Flackwell Heath at the beginning of October.

Ascot United Women will travel to Dartford on Sunday in the First Round Proper of the FA Cup. A new side for the Yellawomen also, Dartford play in the same division as AFC Acorns. Acorns were Ascot’s Third Round Qualifying opponents with the Yellas seeing out a convincing 5-0 victory.

Dartford sit fifth in the London & South East Regional Women’s League, the Premier Division side have so far played eight games, registering four wins, one draw and three losses. They’ve taken all six points on offer against AFC Acorns this season with the home advantage over them in their most recent game and a 2-0 victory but they’re yet to face all of the sides above them in the league.
