CHERTSEY UP NEXT AS ASCOT PREPARE FOR FESTIVE FEAST

#WeAreAscot.

Ascot United welcome title-chasing Chertsey Town to the Racecourse on Saturday (3pm). Our online-only matchday programme is here. In this week’s edition Simon and JT give their views, including tributes to departing striker Brendan Matthew who joined Southall earlier this week. Thee are also photos from the Northwood game two weeks ago, and more.

The Curfews arrive with just one league defeat this season, and the 2019 FA Vase Final Winners could go top if they win and Raynes Park Vale slip up at Hartley Wintney. Get your advance tickets, including the beer, burger and entry hat-trick, here.

After that, The Yellamen travel to Uxbridge and Leatherhead on the 26th and 30th of January respectively – both 3pm kick offs – a tough festive sequence with all three sides in the top six!

There are no festive fixtures for our Yellawomen who end 2023 top of the SRWFL, and whilst 2024’s league programme is yet to be released their league cup tie at Woking is set to be replayed on 7th January. The initial tie, which Ascot ‘won’ 3-2 after extra time, should have gone straight to penalties at the end of normal time. I’ll say no more…!

Merry Christmas.
