Derby day at The Racecourse in a glut of home games
And, we’re back again! Home match-on-the-trot number 3 of 7. Who’d be stupid enough to be a programme editor…
Yes, me.
And here is the online-only edition for Tuesday night’s Forest Road / B3034 / call it what you like derby, with our friends and neighbours Binfield.
Who’s the returning legend? Who have Ascot added to their squad mon amie? And who is playing in sticks (it’s not Regan btw, although the boy was a bit Special against The K’s to be fair…).
In other news, Ascot have been drawn at home against Sussex side Pagham in the Emirates FA Cup 1st qualifying round with the tie to be played over the weekend after next. This will be the third step-five outfit Ascot have faced at home in the competition and they are on a pretty decent run too; more info in the programme.
And, be sure to bring your spouse (or spouses, we won’t tell…), siblings, nephews and nieces, dogs, cats and basically anything that moves to The Racecourse on Freaky Friday when Margate visit in a, well, freaky repeat of last season’s Isuzu FA Trophy tie, when Ascot won 1-0.
Match report to follow, as it will on Friday, and Monday, and Saturday, and Tuesday.
Not quite a Craig David hit, but that’s Seven Days of home football and we’ll answer your call rigt here to Fill Me In on the action.
