From the Chairman

Stuart Connor’s Girls’ Youth U18 team are joint top of the new JPL as the only unbeaten side with a recent tight win over Millwall as the highlight – and several of that squad are now regulars in the Women’s First Team demonstrating the clear pathway we want to create.

Two new initiatives we started this year have really taken off – firstly, our Girls Development Centre run by Carol Checkley and Donna Graham now attracts 30+ girls every week who are new to football and are developing their skills to start integrating into teams when ready.

Secondly, our Warriors squad play every Sunday and you will see these young adults acting as our mascots today… this is a mixed ability group, fully affiliated with Special Olympics GB, and I’m very proud that we are able to offer this provision to the local community.  Football is truly a sport for all at Ascot United.

If you or somewhere you know would like to get involved or know more information about our Girls Development Centre or our Warriors team, don’t hesitate to get in contact.

Elsewhere, Reading City play host to North Greenford United, Flackwell Heath welcome Egham Town and Hilltop travel to Burnham…weather dependent of course!

Up the Yellas!
