Fareham up first as run-in hots up
Ascot United welcome already-relegated Fareham Town on Saturday as manager Gavin Smith speaks in his programme notes of taking his side’s survival destiny into their own hands.
Speaking in this week’s online-only matchday programme, Smith looks back on priceless points on the road, and announces there will be a few new faces in the squad as Ibby Sankoh departed to test himself at step-three Hanwell Town.

One of Ascot’s rivals – Littlehampton – have a tough test on Saturday as visitors Leatherhead know a win will clinch the title for The Tanners irrespective of results elsewhere, because they would remain at least 13 points clear with four games to play.
