Adam Clark, Allied Counties Youth U18 manager

Ascot United are delighted to confirm the appointment of Adam Clark as the new manager of our Allied Counties U18 Youth after Josh Nice confirmed he will step down from the role at the end of the 2022/23 season.

A few words from Adam on his new appointment.

“I’m delighted to join the club and become apart of this journey. After recent discussions with Jamie, Neil, Bjorn, Josh and Chris, it’s clear to see that there is a strong emphasis on youth development, which is backed up by fantastic resources and facilities within the football club. After watching a number of games recently, I feel the playing ability within the squad is excellent and I’m really looking forward to leading them into this next chapter.”

A few words on Adam’s appointment from our Director of Football, Neil Richards.

“A UEFA ‘A’ license coach who has a strong track record in player development across a number of ages.  Adam has worked with a number of professional clubs and academies both in the UK and Europe and has built up an impressive range of coaching skills and attributes along the way. An excellent communicator who can focus on team targets as well as developing strong professional relationships with players and colleagues.

Adam also has invaluable experience in Senior Football at step 4 & 5 which will be essential in building a strong and positive relationship with Jamie Tompkins as we continue to deliver a pathway for our young players into Senior football. Good luck Adam for the upcoming season!”

Congratulations Adam and we look forward to welcoming you to the Yellas!
