*** SATURDAY UPDATE – WESTFIELD V ASCOT POSTPOINED DUE TO FROZEN PITCH***
Weather permitting, Ascot United will take to the road on Saturday with a trip to Woking to face Westfield (3pm). As of 5pm Friday, pitch inspections are already scheduled for two of Saturday’s league games, and there will surely be more with temperatures forecast to barely exceed freezing until mid-day.
Ascot’s good form is well known to the Yellamen, but Westfield’s form – just three points and winless in their last six – has dented their own play-off hopes leaving them eleven points off fifth place.
Game of the day is undoubtedly Kingstonian v Farnham, and we’ll leave it there just in case tomorrow’s programme is decimated.
On Sunday, however, league leaders Ascot United Women will return to action on their home 3G against Reading Community Trust (note 3pm kick off time, not 2pm).
