U16’s Crystals: Berks & Bucks Girl’s Cup final

#WeAreAscot.

Congratulations to our U16’s Crystals squad who have successfully navigated their way to the Berks & Bucks U16 Girl’s Cup final for the 2022/23 season.

Some convincing wins from the team have seen them book their place in the final and we caught up with their manager, Mick Parker, to discuss the journey and how the squad are feeling.

How have you found the cup campaign this season?

The campaign has been straight forward, three games with favourable draws along the way, where we feel we got the easier side of the draw.

A highlight of the competition so far?

Highlight so far was definitely winning the semi-final in first 20 mins, we went 3-0 up and felt the game was over from there.

How are you and the squad feeling ahead of the final?

Girls are confident but know we have a really tough final against Childrey, who are a very good side, will be a very tight and even game.
