TICKET DETAILS AS ASCOT LEARN CUP FINAL OPPOSITION

Ascot United now know who they will meet in the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup Final next month after Reading cruised past Milton Keynes Dons 4-0 in their semi-final tie on Monday evening.

The Championship side, comprising their U23 squad, were far too strong for youthful EFL Division 1 side opposition at The Select Car Leasing Stadium. Mamadi Camara fired into the top corner to give the home side a 7th minute lead before three goals inside ten second half minutes from Leavy (53’), Scott (59’) and Clarke (62’) put the game beyond The Dons’ reach; 4-0 the final score in front of a crowd of 430.

Tickets are now on sale for the final here, to be played on Saturday 7th May (3pm) at Slough Town’s 2,000-capacity Arbour Park Stadium. With Reading FC’s senior squad in Championship action at Luton Town on the same day (12.30pm) and possibly still need needing points to avoid relegation, the composition of their squad to face Ascot is likely to remain centred on the U23’s.

Ascot United have three remaining home games before the clash with Reading, beginning with Windsor FC this Saturday (3pm), Abbey Rangers on Easter Monday (11.30am) and Egham Town on Saturday 23rd April (3pm).

On Tuesday evening (tonight) the title-winning Ascot United Allied U18’s are back in action when they entertain Didcot Town in the Champions Cup (7.45pm).
