There were mixed emotions for the Ladies’ Teams on Sunday with a win and a defeat.

Ascot United Ladies lost 2-0 at Abingdon Town – a result which leaves them in 5th place in the Southern Region Women’s Football League. The Abbots led 1-0 at the break, before first-half substitute Chloe Ball wrapped the game up in the 70th minute to leave Darrel Evans’ side winless in three.

Meanwhile, it’s getting crazy, but the Ascot United Ladies Reserves extended their winning sequence to 22 games. Captain Courtney Gibbons was on target as they won 1-0 at fellow title contenders Ruislip Rangers. The Reserves last tasted defeat in a 3-1 defeat at Abbey Rangers Reserves on 13th December 2020…and edged closer to a full year unbeaten.

On Monday evening (29th), the Ascot United Allied U18 side are on the road at Abbey Rangers. League table is here.
