A cracking early morning match between Ascot Utd Saints and FC Bracknell. The pre match team talk was all about building on from last week’s opening match performance and setting the tempo early and that’s exactly what they did , taking the game to Bracknell and not letting them settle on the ball , some great team work saw Heath find the back of the net with a great strike. Bracknell came alive in the next two quarters and scored a couple of well deserved goals and could of been more without some great defensive tackles and goalkeeping. The best part of the match came from Savanna winning the ball back on the half way line , holding off two Bracknell midfielders and smashing the ball into the top corner ! Goal of the season contender! The final part of the game was end to end but just lacked that bit of composure in front of goal , loads of positives to take away and work on in training. Another great game played in the right spirit.
