First game back after lockdown#2 and Raiders looked fresh from the start playing some good passing football against a strong Ashridge Park side.
It was Ashridge who created the clearer opportunities towards the end of the first half and with some great strikes from the edge of the box put themselves 2-0 up going into the break.
Ascot came out for the second half with a positive attitude which was great to see but conceded from a free kick on the right to go 3-0 down. Raiders finished strong and kept going to the end.
A really good effort considering the boys have not be able to train and integrate 4 new players.
It was a pleasure to welcome a very sporting Ashridge Park team, Coaching Staff and Parents to the Racecourse Ground on a sunny but crisp December morning.
