Ascot United to play in the Southern Region Women’s Football League

Southern Region Women's Football League - SRWFL

After narrowly missing out on promotion, our Women’s First Team will once again ply their trade in the Premier Division of the Southern Region Women’s Football League. They secured a second place finish, four points behind title winners Abingdon United to secure their best ever finish at Tier 5.

Abingdon Town, Bournemouth Sports, Eastleigh in the Community, Oxford City, Winchester City Flyers and Wycombe Wanderers are all familiar teams to the Yellas, having competed against them in the 2022/23 season. The ten team division will see three new teams enter as Warminster Town move laterally from the Premier Division of the South West Women’s Regional Football League. Badshot Lea are promoted from Division One South of the SRWFL and Woodley United are promoted from Division One North of the SRWFL.

We look forward to welcoming new and old faces to the Racecourse in teams and supporters alike.

Up the Yellas!
