ASCOT UNITED ALLIED U18s ON BRINK OF TITLE

#WeAreAscot

Ascot United Allied U18’s are on the brink of the league title after beating Virginia Water 4-1 on Monday.

Harry Holden gave Josh Nice’s side a 1-0 half-time lead at Bedfont Sports Ground, before Alex Hall (2) and Jake Pandhor extended their lead to 4-0 before the hosts scored a late consolation.

Ascot are now 2 points above 2nd-placed Westfield and both sides have one match remaining. If Westfield fail to beat Frimley Green next Tuesday in their final match of the season then Ascot will be champions, although Ascot’s insurance is their match at basement side Fleet Spurs a week later on 21st March – their destiny is in their own hands.
