ASCOT SAFE FROM THE DROP-BARRING HIGHMOOR MIRACLE!
In case you missed it, barring a miracle below them in terms of results and goal difference, Ascot United are safe from relegation after yesterday’s results went in their favour; specifically Highmoor IBIS’ win over Fairford Town.

Ascot (14th) now have 37 points from 37 games. Whilst they can still be caught by Brackley (15th) and Lydney (16th), the only side in the bottom four (17th–20th) that can overtake the Yellamen is Highmoor IBIS, assuming Highmoor win all four remaining games and overturn their significantly inferior goal difference.

Fairford (17th) will only reach 35 points if they win their last three games.

Highmoor IBIS (18th) will reach 37 points if they win their last four games, but their goal difference is -13 inferior to Ascot.

Woodley United (19th) will reach 35 points if they win their last five games. Ascot’s remaining game is at Woodley next Saturday.

Burnham (20th) will reach 29 points if they win their last four games.

For the record, Highmoor’s last four games are against Binfield (Home, Monday), Tuffley (Home, Thursday), Windsor (Home, 23rd April) and Abingdon Utd (Away, 28th April).
