Welcome to Chris Day
Chris has joined Ascot United from Bracknell Town FC, where he managed several teams as well as serving as chairman. He has experience managing the growth, funding, and development of a grassroots football club, as well as serving on the league management committee of the East Berks FA. He has worked with local organisations including the County FA, local councils, and private businesses to grow football provision and participation, and he was awarded the Berks & Bucks FA Volunteer of the Year award in 2012.

Chris left Texas for the UK in 1992 with the US Air Force, moved to this area in 1998 to work for Dell Computers, and spent most of this century as a management consultant in the city. Before anyone asks, yes he did play soccer as a boy, but was better at baseball!

Chris is joining the board of Ascot United Football Club Limited, initially reviewing the club’s IT system and processes, exploring opportunities for facility improvement, and producing a social media strategy for the club.

Mike Harrison commented "We need to make a lot of changes and improvements in the way we do things at the club - Chris' experience will be invaluable and we are all looking forward to working with him"
